Is babylon america? and how does a christian flee if I have not a way of escape?

No, America isn't Babylon. Here's a few tidbits of info. Notice in Revelation that 1 of the beast is being ridden by a whore.

The whore is inscribed "MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS ... OF THE EARTH. " In prophecy a "woman" evil or good is a symbolic representation of a literal "church". America is neither a Church nor is she controlled by one.

Also note that the beast being rode is a representation or a person/nation being controlled by an idolatrous Church & is also labeled part of "Babylon". I know of only 1 imperial state that has historically been controlled or "ridden" by an idolatrous Church. The Roman Empire (beast) and the Vatican (great harlot).

Also keep in mind that this Mother Harlot has harlot daughters meaning these representations of "daughters" sprung from their "mother". Protestant Churches after the Reformation sprung from Catholicism. More juice: Pope John Paul had often referred to the Vatican as the mother of Anglican churches.

Bible says soon the beast & harlot (Babylon) will be on a worldwide conquest of economic & religious control. More juice: "catholic" literally means "universal" as in universal control. I researched the theories of America being Babylon.

Some of the points "sound" convincing. But they don't square with Biblical "history" of the origins of "Babylon". America sprung from Britain, & Britain (depending on what theory one holds) sprung from Israel (British-Israeli theory) or from Germany (they were once slaves of Germany).

But according to Daniel's description of his four beasts: the Roman Empire, replaced the Grecian Empire, and they replaced the Persian Empire, and they replaced the Babylonian Empire. The 7 heads of the Revelation beast indicates 7 historical revivals of the Holy Roman Empire. According to secular & religious historians, the Holy Roman Empire has been revived SIX times already.

Now notice 1 of the heads appears to be mortally wounded (not killed) just wounded but it heals. The Bible says the 7th head (king/empire) is also the 8th (king/empire). Remember the Bible says the beast is the King of the North--NORTH OF JERUSALEM.

America is directly west of Jerusalem! This Northern King is Rome who will fight a nuclear war with the King of the South. Most of the Arabic nations are SOUTH of Jerusalem.

Mexico and South America are south of the US, but neither could prick the US in a nuclear war for their arsenals are 0! Evidence is against America as the Babylonian Beast.

Babylon is Rome today, note: Seven lls on which the Whore sits, the Seven The Vatican, the word Vatican also means The Roman Catholic Church is "The Whore of Babylon" the False religion, that killed the Christians.

It looks as though it will be,it is the most powerful,and the bible speak of the most powerful that shall be defeated. And the opening of the 5th of the 7 hidden seals shall be the time when God shall call s people forth from among it's destruction.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
