Is The United States of America the Great Babylon described in Revelation 18?

Revelations were not meant to be interpreted because it had to do with the apostles and their times. They believed JC would return in their lifetime. This belief was so strong that women were not even allowed to have children.

America was not discovered nor populated until over some 1700 years after Christ. Remember their world did not include the US, nor China nor many other areas of the world. And most of what was written was metaphorical in structure, parables and such.

It was not blatant and easy for those of us who are more of a plain english or plain talking people.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
