Cirque du Soleil is still in Las Vegas. At the time of this writing, they have seven shows running in various hotels in Las Vegas. Currently, one of their most popular shows in Vegas is O at the Bellagio, the only aquatic Cirque du Soleil show.
Part of its popularity is that it is immovable due to the one million plus gallons of water in its tank. The other newly popular Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas is Believe with Chris Angel at the Luxor. Part of this show’s popularity comes from its pairing with Chris Angel, who is a famous magician on the cable and satellite channel A&E.
Cirque du Soleil has operated at least one show in Vegas for the last 17 years. The very first Cirque du Soleil show in Vegas was Mystere. Mystere opened at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino in 1993.
