I have never seen any of the Cirque du Soleil shows based on musicians, but I did have the privilege to see Delirium twice. The music for the show was great featuring a lot of drums with heavy, heart pumping beats and some other very festive music. The show was great.
I so think their shows stand alone without the help of famous musicians, but I am sure this is a target to get other people who thinks it is simply a freak show to attend. I am sure it draws in crowds to have a show based on big name performers. I think for that reason they should do the Michael Jackson.
A lot of his music is upbeat and great to dance to. Michael was also eccentric and had odd costumes that would fit Cirque's style. Can you just imagine 'Thriller' by them.
I bet it will be frightfully delicious. If it was up to me... I would pick Fleetwood Mac or Led Zepplin :).
I would pick Queen, the famous British band. I think that their music is complex enough to be able to support such a show.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
