This thing is just gone as a waste of time and money.....Worked Wonderfully Once I bought this player because it had mostly great reviews and was very inexpensive. I also bought the Amazon product protection plan. I played one movie to test it before leaving a week later on a 10 hour plane trip with my 3 month old and 3 year old.

Soon after take off, I put in the first movie for my 3 year old. It said "wrong disc" and wouldn't play. I tried all the movies I had brought, played with menu, set up, and always had the same result: "wrong disc".

I am in the midst of...should have heeded other reviews Although some reviews were bad, most were good, so I gave it a shot. Used it only a couple times before it displayed "wrong disc" and wouldn't play anymore. After Colby tech support confirmed I was not using burned CDs and I cleaned the laser reader, they suggested I return it.

The only thing I didn't like before it broke was the CD cover was flimsy. I have deduced (this was my second cheap model) that you get what you pay for. I will try a more expensive one.
