No. Darvocet is a pain relieving drug, not anti-inflammatory. Darvocet contains codeine, which is meant to relieve pain, not so much for inflammation.

See if you can get some 800mg Motrin instead. Even for a pain reliever, Darvocet isn't very strong....seems to work well as a mild pain reliever for females though.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
