It depends on the individual and the strength of the coffee, but in general, yes, that's probably too much for most people. The Mayo Clinic says that 500mg of caffeine is probably too much, and a typical cup of coffee contains around 85-135mg of caffeine, so this could easily put you over this safe limit. It's not just the caffeine that's bad for you, but coffee can be quite strongly acidic, which can be rough on the digestive tract.
But different people respond differently. The best way to answer this question is to listen to your body. Do you ever have problems with anxiety or stress, or do you ever feel jittery?
Do you ever have trouble sleeping? Or even have an upset stomach? These can all be signs that you're drinking too much coffee.
If you have none of these symptoms though, you're probably fine. Tea is a good option if you still want to drink caffeinated drinks throughout the day, but you want less caffeine. Tea contains much less caffeine than coffee per cup, and it's easier on the stomach.
I have a page that gives some ideas of what you might want to switch to tea, and gives a few tips of how to make the switch:ratetea.net/topic/switching-from-coffee-... hope this helps! Net/topic/switching-from-coffee-to-tea/34.
I am satisfied that not drinking enough coffee to fill a kid's wading pool turns me into a short-tempered, fault-finding, shrewish thing not fit for human companionship. If the coffee is detrimental to my health, I will have to make that sacrifice in the name of not antagonizing all those poor people who have to deal with me on a daily basis.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
