I'm not familiar with Midwood, but I know that Stuy is a good school. However, Townsend Harris is ranked #1 in NYC by the New York Post, and has a lot of great science classes. Townsend Harris is often compared to Stuyvesant.
They are both rivals, and I would suggest showing your mother Townsend Harris High School. Townsend Harris is a very hard school to get into, and it's a lot of work. Tell your mom this: "At Townsend Harris High School, there are NO regular classes.
All classes at Townsend Harris are Honors-level, Advanced Placement, or College-Level. You can start taking college classes at Townsend while you're still in high school. ALL students take AP world history in freshman year, and all students begin taking Latin or Greek in their Sophomore year.
I can tell that you are interested in science and becoming a doctor. Townsend Harris was designated as the Intel best school of science in 2008. Intel chose Townsend Harris as the high school having the BEST science program in the entire country!
There are state-of-the-art sciences labs, and classes they offer include, Living Environment, Biology, Advanced Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Beginner Robotics, Intermediate Robotics, Advanced Robotics, Computer Programming and a bunch of others. The school is located on the campus of a college, and you can get access to the college library, computer labs, gym, pool, weight room, sports fields, etc: I have never heard of Midwood, but if you really want to go there, then you should apply. I only mentioned Townsend Harris because I thought you would also like it.
Stuy is also a good school. Good luck wherever you go! :).

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
