The majority of newsstands today are dominated by fashion magazines, from foreign titles to the classics, industry reads to everyday consumer titles. InStyle is a great general magazine that focuses on fashion and style, but it is certainly not the only one. Depending on what exactly you are looking, there are magazines that will answer your questions and satiate your style palate.
Some of the most well known periodicals include Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, W, Allure, Elle, among others. These are typically the most popular and generally target the mainstream consumer verses the fashion industry insider, though industry professionals utilize all of these resources to get informed. They're reader friendly, easy to find, and relatively inexpensive for someone who has fashion as a hobby-style interest rather than an obsession or career path.
Women's Wear Daily is probably the most popular among people in the fashion industry, showcasing all of the major collections, trends, accessories, lookbooks, etc. From the most recent fashion runway shows. It is an incredible resource devoted exclusively to high fashion. California Apparel News is another newspaper-style trade publication designed for insiders, as well as The Apparel Strategist and New York Magazine's Style section.
Magazines like Flaunt and Nylon are always available and widely popular, though their scope tends to target a more artistic, edgy side of fashion and does well with the younger crowds. Many international versions of Vogue, Elle, Harpar's Bazaar, etc.Are much more fashion-focused than their American counterparts. There are so many fashion-focused publications out there, it can be hard to find exactly what you're looking for.
In my opinion, going with the big names like Elle, Vogue, and Harpaar's is a great way to get a more general sense of what's in and what's out, but the best of the best in terms of high-intensity fashion magazines has to be Women's Wear Daily.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
