Is it just me or does Apple seem to be listening more to customer wants now that Steve Jobs has taken leave?

It's just you. The effects, good or bad, of Steve Jobs going on medical leave will not be felt for at least several more months. Consumer electronics have a long lead time: concept -> design -> engineering -> transfer to overseas manufacturing -> manufacturing line -> production -> shipping.

Products Apple is now shipping were conceived, designed and engineered under Steve's very watchful eye.

I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. Cut and paste AND a sideways keyboard for E-Mail|email!?!? Was that so hard?

How long before Apple adds a second mouse button (or, gasp! , a wheel) to their mouse!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
