Because a private-business worker's average pay is far lower -- and it should be the other way around. Private businesses generate wealth, government workers spend it... which took years to train, and getting paid a fair wage for it. You enter the training knowing full well, what your salary will be... If you chose to do it, don't complain.
It is not the salary that they earn, it is the number of employees that the state hires. Go to any state office, DMV is one good example, there are 20 or more employees at the DMV in my area and overtime I go there I can count at least 7 that seem to be just mulling around as the service windows are closed and the waiting area is growing. Of all the jobs that are out there, government jobs are the least productive and most over staffed, no corporation would ever make a profit if they operated in the same manner.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
