Is it ok to drink one bottle of beer while breast feeding?

I heard that one bottle of beer does not represent any risk to the baby when breastfeeding. The same for a cup of wine.Is this true? Asked by Keitai 42 months ago Similar questions: drink bottle beer breast feeding Family.

I personally would not since everything you eat/drink goes to the baby. I didn't also take nutrasweet or soda... I think the baby will survive the mother taking one, but if it was daily... I don't think that is too good for the baby.

I've heard... That if you have a bottle of beer or a glass of wine you have to wait a MINIMUM of 2 hours before breastfeeding. I myself had a glass of wine (probably only a couple of times) while breastfeeding and my son is just fine. Your body has natural filters that don't allow much to get through your milk, just give them time to work :) Sources: s doctor and mine are were I found this info .

I heard that what you eat or drink can be digested by the baby. When I was going to breastfeed my premature baby, the doctor gave me a sheet of the food pyramid and encouraged me to eat from their list. I said it before, dr. do not know anything about nutrition.

However, I played it safe and ate healthy food. Did not do any harm. He is now in the coast guards.

I don't think one beer would hurt as long as it is one beer. Would drinking one beer be every hour, day or what? When it come to newborns or toddlers, play it safe.

Good luck.

1 WRONG! The baby should not drink ANY alcohol ANY TIME (ie. , breastfeeding, playing, with Italian food, etc.)!

2 Even a small amount of alcohol is not good for a baby. Alcohol kills brain cells. It can effect the baby's growth, and cause other health risks as well.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
