Is it possible for me to get altitude sickness?

Given that the maxium altitude of illinois is 1,235ft and altitude sickness is something that usually occurs at 10 times that altitude it is unlikely to be altitude sickness. It could be psychosomatic....ie, your girlfriend really doesn't want to see your family Stress could also produce all those symptoms....basically a migraine would produce most of those symptoms and being weak and vomitting might result in a mild fever. In fact migraines are associated with changes in body temperature.

If everytime is 2 or 3 times, it might simply have been coincidence.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
