Is it possible for me to have my MB.pro connected to my flat screen & use it as a main screen and close the MacBook lid?I've tried?

Set your laptop so it is always on, even when you close it. Otherwise it will go into sleep mode.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
