There are different definitions of soul mates, not just romantically (I have a hub about this BTW). Different definitions = different people. (.
I tend to believe, if there is such a thing as a soul mate, that the universe would introduce you to them in a way that would give you a good shot at actually discovering that's what they are. I think perhaps you'd be able to meet them anywhere - but it would be a place that would give you more than a glance at them, if you see what I mean - maybe a decent conversation! :).
I believe, and I'd imagine you can meet them anywhere. If you're destined to be with someone, it'll definitely happen regardless of the circumstances. The question would be whether it is destiny or just something else.
Yes, I was just talking to a girl in work last week and she met her husband on her doorstep. Her brother's friend called round to show off his new car and she answered the door. The rest is history.
She thinks the world of her husband and is very happy. So, yes I do believe you can meet your man anywhere. You just never know :).
I don't believe in soul mates but I do believe that everyone will or can meet that one person who is perfect for them. It's not an easy thing to do but if you don't give up, the right one will come your way.
You can meet your soul mate, or whomever you are fated to be with--if you believe in that kind of thing-- just about anywhere. I met my soul mate twice, the meetings were 8 years apart and the whole of the story is quite long and involved. I first met him on the job in 1988.
I did not meet up with him again until 1996, when fate played her cards and I liked the hand I was offered. Like I said, long and involved and one day I may even do a hub on it. It still makes me smile!(even if he is a pain in the ass most of the time these days!) :).
If we all had someone out there that is an absolute perfect match for each other then why would people waste years dating incompatible, crap partners.
I do like the thought and idea of finding a soul mate though! However, I wouldn't hold my breath.. lol.
Anything is possible. Whether you can break it down through scientific data and probability or having faith and believing, it is possible to find your soul mate or a person you're compatible with, it doesn't matter when or where. If it happens, it happens and if not, oh well.
I believe in several soulmates. There are more than just one person for everyone.
In regards to meeting places, you can meet that person anywhere and at anytime. It's just a question of you can connect with that person at that exact time. Sometimes she/he might just have bad day and give off a bad impression.
Such is life.
I like your answer Larry Gee that it very beautiful! ...and so lets see shall we?
If you have to ask the question, you are not old enough to know the answer, and if you were old enough to know, you wouldn't ask.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
