Is it rude to pass someone on a jogging trail and not say anything like pardon me?

If you are just doing your moderate exercise you would still be able to speak but if you are flat out running and really getting your aerobics you won't be able to spare the breath! Ha at least thats what I plan to use as my excuse :)otherwise I 'spose we etter be nice and 'scuse ourselves eh?

You don't need to say anything like that because it's a sign of weakness. When you're out there it is you and the trail. Sayings like "excuse me" and "pardon me" are so overused it sickens me.

People need to stop apologizing so frequently and ones who often expect it thinking you're rude need to shut the hell up. And when you're in the grocery store passing in front of a shopper who is starring at an item, don't you dare say "excuse me". You are there to shop as much as they are, and so what you passed in front of him/her.

What is the world coming to? People are too soft these days and other countries laugh at us how far we have taken our unnecessary apologies.

Hell no pump those suckers and leave those losers in the dust.

Of course not you don't have to say anything especially if you don't bump into someone or knock them down or touch them. I go walking around the jogging track all the time. People walk and jog and run at different speeds if you stop to talk to everyone you pass there would be no benefit of the jogging or walking.

There is nothing wrong with smiling are waving or being friendly if you want to but most people consider the walk or jog to be exercise and a workout rather than a social meet and greet.

When you jog or bike, when you pass someone you say one of two things:Passing on your right. Passing on your left. This lets the person in front of you to know from which side you are about to pass.

A lot of people walk, chat and move very slowly. It's not rude to let them know that you are about to pass and from which direction.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
