Is it safe to use a microfiber cloth to clean your laptop screen?

It is absolutely ok to use MicroFiber to clean laptop screens, lcd monitors, lcd tv's and plasma displays. However you will need a cleaner to get the 'GUNK' off of the screen.

If you're just wiping the screen (dusting) then that would be fine, but if it has greasy marks etc on the screen I advise to get proper computer screen wipes

These are formulated to clean the screen and the moisture evaporates almost instantly so theres no risk of damage to the screen. amazon.com/Fellowes-Screen-Cleaning-Wipe....

Microfiber will be fine. On all LCD screens you can even use a moist (with regular water) microfiber cloth to clean any grease smudges. When cleaning, start from one side and wipe in a continuous motion all the way to the other side.Do NOT use swirling motions, and do not put any pressure on the screen.

Check out the link for some great tips.

Using a lint-free microfiber cloth is best, an old cloth can introduce dust. Do not use paper towels, tissues, or napkins - they can contain wood fibers that can scratch the screen. Avoid using products such as Windex, any products that contain alcohol, ammonia, or other strong solvents because these contain ammonia and it can degrade the screen. It is better not use tap water, especially, if the water in your area is rich in minerals.

The ideal solution is plain distilled water. Do not forget to shut down your laptop before cleaning.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
