England added another 237 runs before Root was dismissed, definitely could have made the difference. But of course its not over yet, because there were only 13 full playing days in the series instead of the maximum 25 the ICC has generously agreed to add another 2 Test matches to make up the difference, therefore Australia can still win the last 2 matches and retain the Ashes. I think thats very fair, after all it was only half a series, if the bartender filled my glass only half full I would not stand for that, if my prawn cocktail contained only 2 prawns I would explode with rage, if my psychiatrist ended my session 30 minutes early but still charged me for the full hour then just like any reasonable person I would go nuts and start smashing things, why should cricket be any different from everything else in life?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
