It sounds to me that you have a REALLY close friendship with someone you really care about, but are not romantically in love or physically attracted too her. I think the only thing confusing you is listening to what other people are saying! You don't have to do anything you are not sure about or comfortable with.

As long as the 2 of you continue to enjoy each other's company don't worry about putting a status label on the friendship. Whatever MIGHT happen will happen naturally when and IF the time feels right. Only you and her will know how your feelings for each other develop!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
