It is a fascinating drive and a worthwhile experience however it would require about twelve hours of driving time alone which would place a serious limit on the time available to enjoy the trip. Add in fuel stops, rest breaks and two meals and you are allowing for only six hours to see the sights. This also assumes that the trip can be made without the need for any sleep at all.
Some people really enjoy a pleasant drive accross California but this trip is pushing the limits. Such a trip means that so many things would have to be cut from the agenda. No museums, no Fisherman's Wharf, no Cable Car rides, no Ghiradelli Square and no scenic visit to Alcatraz. It hardly allows time for potty stops.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
