Is Mel Gibson a racist?

I listened to the tape and answered the survey, but I really don't think he's a racist. I think he's disturbed and going through a bad break-up. Add on top of that his drinking and anger issues and you have Mel Gibson at his worst.

I felt bad listening to that tape. It was a private conversation... no matter how hurtful and rude he was. I have mixed thoughts about it being paraded all across the media.

The N-word? Come on. Mel was drunk and angry.

Yes Mel Gibson has long been boycotted by discerning people for being anti- semitic and being racist fits right in with the pattern. He is also anti-non-Christian and for that matter anti-every-version-of-Christian-except-his-own. About the only thing he seems to be pro is gratuitous violence and torture in his vile films.

He would have gotten along great with Torquemada.

I don't know if Mel Gibson is a racist, and I certainly can not tell solely from these audio recordings. That said, I would lean towards "Yes" based on everything I've heard. The average person does not say "a pack of n-------" will rap you.

Perhaps things are not what they seem. He seems to be stuck in an Elvis Presley spiral dive. He has let his super stardom get out of control and assume a life of it's own.

Beneath all the flash, the millions, and the women is an angry unhappy man going through a severe mid-life crisis, lashing out and playing the blame game. This is sad, as he is a great actor. It seems he was happier when he was with his wife and children.

I don't think he's a racist, but I *DO* think he's got some MAJOR anger issues. This isn't the first time we've heard him get drunk and scream at people. It's pretty bad too - whether anything happens in court or not, his career is over.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
