People aren't interested in details like "overspending", "too much debt", and "economic collapse". No, what Republicans want is a guy who is politically connected and who looks and acts "presidential". Romney could be the male model for that product that keeps just the right amount of gray in your hair.
He can deliver the right political babble about "keeping American values" and "forging in the right direction", without telling you what these things are supposed to mean. Details don't matter when you're waging a popularity contest - and why would a populace bother themselves with actually reading the Constitution? Didn't they write that thing hundreds of years ago?
Ron Paul doesn't take money from lobbyists, as you would expect from a politician. He doesn't toe a party line. And he actually casts votes based on his oath to maintain the Constitution, instead of catering to special interest groups.
What kind of politician is that? Who could rely on him to cater to the interest of a political party, instead of catering to the interests of the American people as outlined by the Constitution? Why would somebody vote for an honest person who actually act in the best interests of the country's citizens?
Boy, some people act like they're totally against the coming massive collapse and the resulting huge transfer of wealth and power. Go figure.
You need to watch Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano on the Fox Business Network--There you will learn that Ron Paul is a Libertarian, rather than a "Conservative." As far as Paul being "too extreme," what do you think of a guy who thinks that he has the right to spend us into bankruptcy? THAT is NOT extreme?
Please! I DO agree with the asker's assessment of Romney and Santorum--Remember, Paul has promised to remove a trillion dollars in spending in the budget during his FIRST year in office--The current yee-haa's have proposed 1.7 trillion over TEN years--a whopping 107 billion (out of 1.6 trillion) per year--That's like throwing 100,000 dollars at 100 million a year--PENNIES, in other words. What a CROCK!
Come to find out, all they are doing in the end is lowering the INCREASE in spending--They are NOT "cutting" ANYTHING!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
