I believe that President Obama changed his mind for the better on mandates because I always supported Hillary's correct position that a mandate was necessary. I don't approve of the Senate's tax on so-called Cadillac plans and it is unfortunate that President Obama supported it but I think that is probably due to pragmatic, budget issues. We criticize President Obama on various aspects concerning the health care reform plan, especially the omission of the public option.
That criticism probably gets lost however among all the defenses that we have to raise in response to the constant, vicious, baseless, lying attacks on President Obama and the proposed legislation.
This quote has been swirling around the Internet. "The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president.
The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The public can survive a Barack Obama.
It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president." Just remember, folks ... elections have consequences. Bottom line: Obama is a fascist, but most of his supporters appear to be blinded by him and not facts, as you've so deftly pointed out.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
