Is Obama Pro-Israel or Pro-Palestine?

Obama has stated several times before that he is in favour of a two-state solution in Palestine. He gave a speech regarding the Arab uprising back in May where he highlighted the potential opportunity to move towards a resolution between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs, making a dramatic departure from the Bush-era foreign policy by criticizing both sides for their injustices against each other. However, he is ostensibly opposed to the Palestine 194 movement, implying that America will veto a UN Security Council resolution recommending Palestinian membership at the UN General Assembly It's just another one of those paradoxical realities we've unfortunately come to expect from the Obama administration.

I think Obama, like every president before him, is frustrated with that situation and has no clue how to bring them together because they don't want to come together.

President Obama is pro-peace. I know that's a really foreign idea to Americans, since most presidents were warmongers.

I haven't seen anything to suggest that he even understands that region enough to even begin to have an opinion of his own on that question.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
