Is 'On time digital. Com' a reliable place to buy a Nikon d90 camera? They had a great price on a Nikon d90 camera and I want to get one cheap but do not want to get taken.Do they sell grey market or not?

If it sounds too good to be true..... Then it is. Well it's simple, the mark up on the Cameras from the dealers is not too much. Nikon makes a ton when they sell them to the dealers, but the dealers don't have much mark up on them.

There are many others like this. Sonic is another. One thing I look for is to see if they have packages that put lenses on cameras that won't work.Ie ones that on the d60 won't AF or a Canon EF-S lens on the 5D or Mark Bodies.

Those are keys to not real camera shops, just bulk and get your $$ fast. The ones that are selling them way too cheap, are doing it in one of the following ways: Grey market, and even then it is not going to be too much cheaper. NON us/english cameras, so then you menues will be in some other language.

Often they sell each piece seperate, so you pay so much for the camera, and then the battery, and charger, and software, and strap and such, when it all actually comes in thefactory box from Nikon or Canon. They are requiring you to buy other items, like a $400 4gb memory card to get that sale price. I would not suggest them to any of my friends or family.

To get a good deal on a good product I would buy from one of these 3 online or over the phone. 1. Gary Farber at Hunts Photo & Video.

They have great pricing but their Customer service is not so good, and thier returns department is TERRIBLE. And that is why I often will not buy from them anymore. Even when they screw up and send you the wrong item, its a huge headache and they try to make it your fault and it ends up taking 2-3 weeks more and they never refund the shipping on thier maistakes, like they tell you on the phone they will do.

1 Looks like a clip joint to me. They're selling the D90 body for over 300 bucks less than any of the reputable dealers. And the "accessories" they list for it are grossly overpriced, particularly the SD memory cards.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
