There are many shopping places in Nashville and your trip can’t be completed without visiting and shopping there. If you want to outfit yourself in the traditional Nashville gear, check out Music Valley Village. This area of country music shows is also home to many souvenir shops that offer boots and hats galore etc.For antique shopping, the 8th Avenue Antique District is full of unique antique stores.
Don’t worries, some modern shopping Malls also there like Cool Springs Galleria, The Mall at Green 100 Oks Mall, Prime Outlets at Lebanon etc. These are just few you can find many more in Nashville. Marvelous Victorian Inn Bed and Breakfast.
Yes you are right. Opry Mills is more of an "Outlet" or "discount" type mall than anything else. I would suggest defining "shopping" on your own terms, and then check out the different types and locations of malls within the "greater" Nashville area.
Again, if you're looking for outlet-type malls, the Outlet stores in Lebanon and Opry Mills come to mind. Unfortunately, with the flood greatly affecting Opry Mills, a portion of the stores there have relocated to the Lebanon Outlet stores. If you're looking for more "higher end" stuff, I would suggest Green where they have Coach, True Religion, Burberry, and the upcoming Nordstrom (thank goodness), in addition to other staples like Banana Republic and Ann Taylor.
However, Green lls Mall is by comparison a very small "higher end" mall than what you would find in bigger cities like Chicago, LA, Seattle, and NY, which means stores are limited. There is the llsboro Village Plaza within walking distance to Green and is an outdoor mall similar to Redmond Town Center in Redmond, WA. It has cute little boutiques, West Elm, and also houses Nashville-based stores.
I would consider this in the "higher end" as well. I would rate Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin more towards your typical mall, with staples like Eddie Bauer, Abercrombie, and Banana, with some higher end stuff like Coach. It is definitely larger than Green lls and much more family friendly than Green Rivergate Mall and 100 Oaks Mall are what I would consider a lower-standard mall, with your basic stores in place.
If you're looking for (as much) higher end stuff, I would try Green lls mall or Cool Springs Mall. But I would rather you go to the shopping district in New York or anywhere in Santa Monica or LA and get the one-stop shopping there. But if you're comfy with your "standard" shopping, any mall in Nashville may do.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
