No, he actually saves Ender's future through his anonymous web collumnist by sending him off to a colony planet instead of returning him to Earth. It saved him because on Earth it as obvious that the I.F. would break up and countrie's would begin earthside wars once again, and he would most likely be kidnapped and used as a commander like many of the other kids from Battle School.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
