Is photography a really expensive hobby for teens?

Photography can be as expensive or inexpensive as you want it to be. You can buy an inexpensive compact digital camera for under $200 and obtain free photo editing software online. You can also spend thousand if you want but I would recommend starting small to see if your teen or tween likes the idea of taking pictures.

You can download GIMP for free at the link below, which is an excellent open source image-editing program. As long as you have a computer you really have no other costs except for memory cards. I think it is an excellent hobby for teens because to be a good photographer you need to develop patience which I something a lot of young people need to learn.In addition it makes available a lot of high school activities.

Photographers are needed for the school paper, yearbook and sports teams. There are many opportunities for teens that can take quality pictures. If you have a Mac it came with a program called iPhoto, which is an intuitive easy to use photo-editing program that is very good for beginners.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
