Is Photoshop easy enough for a beginner, or is it for the experienced photographer?

When I came across Photoshop for the first time, I too was little apprehensive as to how I will learn. It always happens in any field if you don’t have full knowledge of a product you feel hapless. But if you have interest in learning a thing, you could do anything to achieve your desired goal.As a beginner I joined a one month class in Graphic Designing.

Now-a-days there are online communities also where you can easily learn Photoshop tricks. As a beginner you will find it difficult to learn. But with the passage of time you too can become an experienced user of Photoshop.

It is fun learning the ropes of Photoshop. It is a world-class image editing tool no one would miss learning it. Photoshop is geared for anyone who wants to play around the images i.e.

From beginner to professional.

I don't have $600 to lay out for Photoshop C2 (?) but I see that I can get Photoshop Elements for around $60. That I could afford. So the question is: Is Photoshop Elements good enough for a beginner?

Will it give me some satisfaction in changing tones, punching up color, etc? I look forward to your comments. Re: Is Photoshop Elements good enough to start out with for a beginner? It sure is.

The current version is 6.0, and you will find it can do many things for you, including using adjustment layers such as hue/saturation, levels, etc. It's a very good editing program with probably 80% of the functionality of the full-blown Photoshop, but with a much easier learning curve. For about 95% of people, PSE is all they need. Along with the software, I'd suggest a good book on the program. I think Scott Kelby has a book on PSE and his writings are regarded pretty well.

There's also one by Philip Andrews that I think is fairly highly regarded. Re: Is Photoshop Elements good enough to start out with for a beginner? Third time is a charm.

Let me add my nickle's worth to this. Elements will serve you well for the foreseeable future. I have both CS3 and Elements 5 on my machine and I use Elements 5 far more often than CS3.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
