Is public fire safety education/training made available through the Winona Fire Department?

The Winona Fire department strongly believes that fire prevention through education is one the of the most effective fire fighting tools we have. Therefore; the department does offer a variety of public fire safety education programs to industry, businesses, civic groups and schools in Winona. The subjects vary from general fire safety presentations, to hands on fire extinguisher training.

The Junior Fire Inspectors program that is presented annually to 5th grade students in the Winona schools is just one such example. Tours of the fire stations are always informative and exciting. If interested, please contact the office of Fire Prevention for further information concerning any fire safety program.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
