Any career choice is "iffy" right now. I am a Registered Nurse, and when I went to school, there was a nursing shortage. There still is, however, some hospitals countrywide are on a hiring freeze.
Radiology is a great profession, whether you are a tech, or an actual Radiologist. It involves so much more than just X-rays. I would look into job opportunities though before investing the time and $$$$ in college.
Who knows tho, in the 2-6 years that you are in school, the economy could skyrocket! Good luck with your studies. -cindi.
I just turned 17 and about to go to college and I was thinking in becoming a Radiology Technician. It seems pretty cool. What are the pros and cons of this career choice?
Is it hard to find a job? Do they pay well? Oh and how many years of college do you need?
I’ve been hearing different answers in this. Some say two years but it only took my mom’s friend’s friend 1 year.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
