I believe Roger Federer has already achieved this status as young as he is. There were legends in the past but noone has dominated as much as he is at the moment. Is it the competitions fault?
I wouldnt say so because tennis is evolving very well and there are more and more great players out there. I believe his name will be remembered in a hundred years time for sure. Sincerely, I.B.
Bets of his era. Or his competition which isn't a great field. Sampras, Agassi, Edberg, Courier, Becker, Rafter, Kafelnikov, Ivanisevic in the 90s and a few more were miles better than Fed's top 10 competition.
There is no argument there. He is the most beautiful to watch, has any shot, great sportsman. I would say right now he is with all of his slams but if Rafa gets 15 or 16 slams then Rafa is the best, no?
Cuz he still beats Roger so much. Federer and Rafa are probably the best top 2 tennis players, if that happens.
I still believe Sampras is the GOAT, he faced much much tougher opponents in the 90s: Agassi, Courier, Chang, Wilander, Muster, Lendl, Edberg, McEnroe, Noah, Ivanisevic, Stich,Becker,Kafelnikov, Krajicek, Rafter, Medvedev, Moya, Rios, Safin, Brugeira, and younger Hewitt, Haas, Roddick, Federer among others. Lots of claycourt legends which explains why he didn't win the French slam. Bjorn Borg is another strong candidate, it would have been interesting to see him play longer ( he retired at age 26 and played only one tournament-monte carlo in 1982) he did play 4 finals at the US open, and he only played once at the Australian open (best players were not attending that slam back then, coz it was before the christmas holidays!).
There is no doubt that Roger Federer is the best! Pete Sampras ran close but he never won over the clay at French Open! Ivan Lendl never won Wimbledon and his game wasnt sublime enough to be called the greatest!
Rod Laver was a great but would he have outlasted the onslaught of the open era where all top 100 players are as good as the other! John McEnroe was too enigmatic to climb the stairs of greatness! Lastly.
Bjorn Borg, 11 grandslams but no U. S Open or even the Australian! Hence, there can be no doubt that Roger Federer is the greatest tennis champion of all time till date!
Yes! Roger Federer is the best tennis player forever...
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
