Is Ron Paul right on foreign policy?

I mainly support ron paul FOR his foreign policy, and like his other platforms as well. Im definately in the minority, but I just don't see it as being right to act hostile towards other sovereign nations without authority from congress. That 90 day rule (subject to interpretation as we saw from obama) is bullcrap, and should be unconstitutional.

If you expect somebodies young child to go die on some foreign campaign, congress and the president need to at least be on record for it so that people can have some recourse on the next election cycle if they care about the issue or not. Name any issue that involves the US checkbook that is not voted on and is just done? Why should wars be any different?

@people, I just want to let you know that preemptive invasions are illegal under international law. That is why a declaration of war is very important. You are not allowed to have a massive buildup of forces on ones border, and then without notice attack-that is exactly what happened with the Iraq invasion in 2003.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
