Is talent quantifiable?

For me, it is quantifiable. Talents are quantified base on the production or gain acquired due its employment. An entertainer who brings in a greater audience to an entertainment house is more likely cherished than the one who brings in less.

Thus he will be appreciated for being productive and his talent will be considered superior among others.

Check out the success of Haier, the Chinese appliance company. In a very short time, they have become one of the largest companies on the planet. They did this by quantifying "talent" as it relates to innovation, production, and leadership.

Performance ratings were posted on everyone for everyone else to see.

“Despite the benefits, many organizations still do not have the proper tools or rigor needed to deploy effective talent management programs across the enterprise,” said Jason Corsello, Vice President, Knowledge Infusion. “The good news is that automated solutions make deployment and adherence to a talent program easier than ever. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
