Is the iPod Touch January Software Upgrade worth buying or is jailbreaking better?

You should definitely buy the software upgrade. It's totally worth it. Software from the installer.

App program is usually not very stable, but the upgrade has never crashed on me. It all works perfectly and really shows off what the iPod can do. Of course, I also reccomend jailbreaking your iPod too.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
