Fickle and politics go side by side and that's not purely concerning the death of the former labour leader. After months of expenses scandals which some are still currently ongoing, the Iraq inquiry which is making the headlines again today and numerous failed or vanished policies will be promptly swept under the carpet in the coming weeks. The politicians will be in need of our vote and so the "whiter than white" exterior will try to persuade us into voting booths in our millions for no doubt another four years of those in power looking after themselves at the expense of others.
Newspapers which condemned their expenses will soon rally round them again in a bid to influence the undecided, confused or exasperated among us. Oh yes, a very fickle bunch indeed I'm afraid!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
