There aren't. There's just a media obsession with the subject. Consider something obvious: hundreds of people are killed in car accidents on British roads each year.
Do you know their names? Do you even know the basic stats on car accidents in the UK? Why not?
Simple- because a) the media has no interest in telling us about accidents, and b) you yourself are more interested in child molesters than traffic accidents. QED, you're actually part of the problem- you read these news stories all the time and pay no attention to news about the TTIP etc, so the papers write about lurid paedo stories because they know it sells papers.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
