Is the Swine Flu in Maryland? If so, can we close the schools for the rest of the week to make sure it does not spread?

According to the attached article, there are six probable but not yet confirmed cases in Maryland. Two are in school age children, but all cases were related/had connections to Mexico travel. Given the small size and the direct link to Mexico travel, there is no reason to close schools as there is no indication that the virus has spread within the school system.

Refer to this map. It is constantly being updated with new cases of the swine flu. I'm not sure about the educational system in Maryland, but if there are multiple cases in nearby areas, the schools will almost definitely be shut down for a while. So far there are 339 cases in the United States alone, 1149 worldwide.

It is bound to increase substantially. I hope I helped; have a great day and stay safe!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
