Yes, 3M Command Picture Hanging Strips... Try these, they really work good & come in different sizes...a velcro strip adheres to the wall and to the picture, then the velcro holds them together. If you want to remove the strips from the wall, just pull downward & they snap-off...really cool! I hope you like them!

Suggestions It really depends on the weight of the picture. You can buy two sided tape at any common department store in the tape section, and you can put a small, say 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch square on the back of your picture and stick it to the wall. But even this stuff is going to pull the paint off when you pull the picture off later.
And if the picture is too heavy, it won't hold it up. I have a small white roll of it called "Duck" tape. Another less sticky option is a material called "Stic Mount Adhesive Strips".
These are essentially the same thing as the sticky tape, only they come in little strips, and they are much weaker. So you might find they can't hold the picture up (but they will not pull the paint off the wall when you remove them). You can find these at WalMart in the paint and tape section... One other option, that would leave a very small hole, is to use those heavy duty pins you find in dress shirts etc when you buy them.
They leave quite small holes, and are quite strong. A step up from that would be thumb tacks, which leave a larger hole, and are a little stronger yet. Why so worried about holes?
A little spackle and paint and they disappear...
3M has a whole line of products called Command Strips. I have used them for years with no problem. Especially great for holiday decorating, or any time you want to you want to put up something temporary.
They will hold for years, and are reusable. You can find them just about anywhere. solutions.3m.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/Com... And you find them just about anywhere!
Framed pictures may be too heavy for it... but there used to be a product called "fun tack" that was a sticky putty product students traditionally used to hang posters on dorm room walls. There is also a 3M product I have seen advertised that is a self adhesive hanger that is claimed to be easily removable. I forget the name, but I'll see if I can search it.

Scotch Double- Sided Mounting Tape. That’s what I sold in my stationery/office supply store, and have used it a lot in my house. It doesn’t say here for some reason, but if I remember correctly, it holds up to 5 pounds.
I must warn you that is it not easy to get off of the wall, so be sure to think about that when you are hanging the pictures. Amazon carries it, or you can find it in any Staples, Office Depot, Office Max - all those wonderful companies that put little me out of business :-) Double-Sided Mounting Tape, 1/2"x75", White MMM110 by Scotch Buy new: $3.62 $2.17 2 Used & new from $2.17 In Stock (1) Office Products: See all 89 items Sources: http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/104-2694128-2595902?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=scotch+mounting+tape&x=17&y=18 .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
