Is there a way to put the same audio book on two different mp3 players?

I listen to a lot of audiobooks on my Ipod. I have an Audible account with a number of books on it from over the years.My wife now has a long commute to work and would like to start listening to audiobooks that I have long since finished. She also has an Ipod.

Is there some way that she can download books from my account so that she can listen to some of these books? From my limited understanding of Audible and the Apple Ipod, this is not possible due to Apple's concern about copyright violations. What if I purchased a non-Ipod mp3 player for my wife's use.

Could I d/l some of my previously listened to books onto it directly from Audible? It just seems a pity to me that it is so difficult for a family (husband and wife in my case) to share an mp3 audio book. No one would bat an eye if I loaned out one of my older books on tape or CD to her.

This site has a process that would work It involves writing the book out as a CD and then ripping the files back to mp3s. The site claims that it is all legal, and there is a case to be made for self use. However I'm not advocating anything.

Yes you should be able 2. As long as you have the audio book on your computer you should be able to upload them to your wifes I tunes and then on 2 her Ipod. If not as long as you actually downloaded the file and have it on you comp you can put it on any MP3 player.1 Reason I hate Ipods is they are 2 concerned with piracy and stop people from sharing music like we all did in the past..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
