Yes, we really need a filter for questions that come from Conundrumland so that people who do not want to answer questions from there can view a listing of questions that are only from Mahalo. There seems to be a lot a bugs relating to the Conundrum site. I have also been avoiding questions from there as it just seems too buggy right now.
Also, from what I understand you don't get points for answering one of their questions, your answer does not show up under your activity in your mahalo profile (even if you answer the questions while logged in through Mahalo) and people have had problems otherwise. Another problem is that because their questions tend to have a $2 or $3 mahalo dollars reward, they tend to dominate the listing of questions to be answered so those not wanting to answer their questions have to sift through the questions to find Mahalo originated questions. This is why we really need a filter for questions coming from that site.
I know the developers of conundrum and Mahalo are actively working on sorting out the bugs. Maybe, when most of the bugs have been sorted out I will try it again. I think the idea behind it is interesting.
See @Jasoncalacanis answer to the question "Is there a benefit to asking questions at Conundrum? Can I tell if it will cross over to Mahalo? " http://www.mahalo.com/answers/mahalo-answers-community/is-there-a-benefit-to-asking-questions-at-conundrum-can-i-tell-if-it-will-cross-over-to-mahalo Also if they intend to add other site / community like Conundrum as noted in @jasoncalacanis's answer, it really makes a filter all the more necessary.
One suggestion Conundrum questions could be placed in a category. Do not mix them in with Mahalo originated questions. Another suggestion The Mahalo answers page could have a tab for "All open questions" and one for " Mahalo only open questions" so those wishing to see all open questions including those from Conundrumland can and those who only want to see questions from Mahalo can as well.
I don't have the answer to this, but I hope someone will soon as it's something I've been thinking about too. I'm not sure how other people feel about this, but I've been avoiding the conundrum questions like the plague due to other people's claims of not recieving points when they answered one of those questions. I've been away for a few days so I haven't been up to much here so I don't know if that's been sorted out already, but I just want to be able to use Mahalo, THE SITE I SIGNED UP TO.
I haven't CHOSEN to use "conundrumland" or whatever it is, so to be honest I don't really appreciate their questions being sneaked in here. I noticed they took the banner off each conundrum question and now it just says "via conundrumland" or something similar.
This is a wonderful question that I hope staff look into putting into place! I am really dislike coming to Mahalo and having the site filled with Conundrum questions that I can't answer while at work (the time I use to spend my most time on Mahalo). I'm all for partnering with other sites so they can use the Mahalo back-end but when it pulls focus away from MAHALO (you know that little site that we all actually signed up for to use originally) I see a problem. It seems we keep hearing how better search and filtering is coming but it never comes, instead we get other new features that are not being talked about in as much detail.
If we had a nice filter option so every user could have their main page filled with things they are interested in (and void of things they don't want to see) I really think the QUALITY of the answers would improve.
Me too! I am avoiding Conundrumland questions like the plague. I feel very irritated and annoyed when I see their questions here.
Because my answer was not acknowledged, (ie it seems to have been lost) I don't want to waste my time anymore over there. It is still too buggy. I would like to have a uniform interface.
Why is Mahalo so interested in this website? Can a workaround be installed, that just imports the question to be answered here, like is done with Twitter? Duenhsiyen.
I agree with the aforementioned answers. We need a filter in place for the Conundrum and the Twitter question dumps.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
