I am doing a documentary for my co-op, I plan to sell it at the end of the year, and my writing teacher insists that she knows of a way to use copyrighted music in a movie for free. But she won't tell me what it is because she wants me to research it. I've been all over and all I see is "you have to pay the fee", or "you have to ask permission".
