I agree with @unwirklich. I haven't had any luck, or know anyone who did have luck with any type of remedy for stretch marks. Expensive or cheap, except for the surgical or laser treatments.
When I was pregnant with my son, I did use Vitamin E oil on my skin to keep it moisturized and minimize the damage. They do reduce in color and size over time. Just like a scar.
Anyone should ask their doctors|doctor before trying pure Vitamin E oil, especially when pregnant. It does absorb into the skin and into the bloodstream. I have heard good things about Mustela to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy.
The strangest thing is my mother has weighed well over 200 lbs during her pregnancies and has gave birth to 4 kids. She doesn't have a stretch mark one. I know some girls that have never weighed over 125 lbs that have them.
Sadly for the most part natural methods won't give amazing results. A few things that often work include.. -Lotions with high vitamin E content. Don't bother paying for the high dollar "stretch mark eraser" lotions they are a waste of money.
-Hair, Skin and Nails vitamins as stretch marks are scar, the healthier your skin the better they will heal. -Regular massage increase the circulation to the skin which improves health, which increases healing, this can also help improve skin elasticity. Many tips to reduce the appearance of stretch marks are the same as those used to re-tighten skin after weight loss.
I actually wrote a full article on the subject you may find helpful... associatedcontent.com/article/2892334/lo... Kid number 2, 34 weeks, I wish I had a current photo most of those are gone now. :D.
