It's possible, but not probable. I have done this to my hair and it came out brassy the first couple times I decolored it, then I did protein packs on my hair for a week and after a while I got it platinum blonde. I had proffessinal color products, and am a professional hair dresser specializing in color, so I would get a hair dresser or a school to do it..

You can use a deep cleansing shampoo (clarifying) to help speed the process. But seriously, it's very difficult to go from black too blonde. Be careful... Yes you have to remove ALL the pigments from it and then go back through and add the desired shade of blonde. I strongly strongly suggest you go to a proffessional for this (its an intense process) and make sure to use a deep condtioner once a week to help your hair repair itself. I've done this before and if its done right it will turn out just fine..

Not directly That black dye is powerful, powerful stuff. It takes a lot of dye to make something black. You could repeatedly re-bleach it, but you'll do a LOT of damage to your hair in the process.

Better is to do it in stages. First, give it a few days, and some of the black dye will simply wash out of your hair when you shampoo. Then begin to lighten it with peroxide or other dye removers.(Check your hair products aisle for dye removers.) The color you get is not going to be an attractive one, so you're going to have to do this in stages.

Dye it another, darker color, such as a dirty blond or even brunette. The color won't look like the box, since it's mixing with the remnants of the black. Reds are a good color, too, since they make some striking mixes.

Something that will wash out easily. A few days or weeks later, you can strip out the new color and more of the black dye. That will get you closer to blonde.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
