No..... Sorry, all sales are final and quest gold is non-transferable... Many have suggested that we be able to donate our quest gold to a charity of some kind, perhaps a reading/books program for kids, but there is never any response back from Askville/Amazon towards the suggestion. If you are leaving Askville, all you have to do is stop coming. Some people chose to delete all their friends from their list, change their user name and avatar, but seeing as we are pretty much anonymous all that isn't really necessary, unless you've revealed your real name or just way too much info about yourself.
You might come back after a little while, and see how things are going here. The Askville climate changes every once in awhile, for good and for bad. People forget who each other is, and sometimes you can start over with new people here with a new outlook on the place..
Your Askville gold is yours forever. Currently there is no way to redeem your gold for anything of value. There is also no way to transfer the gold to another member. So I guess you are stuck with it.
That is as long as Askville is still up and running. If you no longer plan on visiting this site then I guess your gold will just lay there dormant collecting dust.In your topics it states that you are leaving Askville. In your profile it states that you have been a member for two years.
I am sorry that you have decided to leave. I don’t recall ever conversing with you but I do much more reading than typing. I am always sorry to hear about folks deciding to leave.
Especially long time members as yourself. Askville needs as many folks as possible. The wide variety of thoughts and opinions is what makes this site unique.
I hope that maybe you just are having a bad day or maybe got caught up in a bad discussion. It happens to all of us here from time to time. The key is to not take things to personal and to keep your chin up. We are all entitled to our own opinions.
Have a nice day and happy holidays! Sources: Personal opinion/personal knowledge .
1 I don't have to much gold but I don't have too many friends either! .

2 The quest gold isn't worth anything, anyway. It is not redeemable or transferable.

3 Yeah, that's what they want you to think Goldie, but I'm not buying it. Someday when Askville is returned to the euphoric site it was meant to be all gold will be doubled and we can buy all the Amazon books our little hearts desire.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
