You build your league from the bottom up so you can make it defense-only, or whatever you want to make it. They provide a very nice service, but there is one major drawback- its not free like Yahoo or ESPN or some of the others are. They have a league fee of $69.95.It sounds like a high amount, but its totally reasonable if you have a serious group of 10 guys for your league because then its only $6.95 a person.

So, I think the service they provide is a great one if you have a reliable set group of people for your league, but if you are looking to join a league by yourself and don't have that group of people in advance, it certainly wouldn't cater to your needs. As far as I know, ESPN and Yahoo don't offer defense only leagues (or at least I have never seen them in the past), so the only option I know of is hte MyFantasyLeague.Com service. Yahoo does. You can do a max of 7 individual players, 5 defensive linemen, and 5 defensive backs. I've been doing fantasy sports on Yahoo for about four years, and I've never had a problem.In fact, all defensive players sounds pretty interesting (though I bet I'd get rocked since I'm a casual football fan at best).
