If you have a mental illness that prevents you from working a lot or at all, you may qualify for SSDI. Your doctor will have to fill out forms for you that you go to your local SSI office and request. Just follow the instructions and return the form.
It takes up to 6 months to get an interview and start the process, but it may be worth it for you. Good luck!
Reckon you should try talk it over, with your creditors ... But, seems it does not work.
So try get your local congress person/assistant, do the talking, to your creditors, it will.
2. He/she may help you find, a less stressful, and more paying job.
So, my Suggestion is ... Go Political, attend party primaries and conventions, make your presence visible, meet the leaders as their new born doggy like supporter!
Regarding your bills, do you owe huge money from creditors?. If yes, you can try to apply for consumer proposal and when you are approved, you can lessen your monthly bills and pay only one payment each month.
You mean state/or federal programs that are for the disabled, in this case, for individuals suffering from incredibly severe depression. I'm sure there's a government program out there somewhere.
I just ran into someone several days ago. She's a financial advisor. Big Whoop, I thought.
She'd be more interested in the clients with big bux.
She has fibromyalgia and knows firsthand of the financial woes of people with chronic illnesses. She works with and advises about how they can best manage their finances and SHE'D KNOW OF THESE PROGRAMS. I think this kind of thing is growing in popularity as more of us need try to get a hold on finances. So, if you see someone who advertises, pay attention to taglines that indicate she would find that program that exists and she also has a soft spot for ppl with handicaps.
Time for bed!
I don't know anything about your situation, but your best chance is not to depend on the government or someone else to help you. If at all possible you should take this opportunity to become as self-reliant as possible. Plant a garden, herd a few small livestock animals.
Take back as much of your dependence on money and thus the system as you can. At least then you will not be driving yourself senselessly deeper in debt while trying to crawl out at the same time.
Writesketchbead - Hope you have found a good job by now. I have been in your shoes and it's not fun. I use to make a good living then wracked up a ton of debt bought a house etc.... when I lost my good job and was sitting on a mountain of debt I called all my creditors informed them that I was unemployed/taking a lower paying job and the creditors were understanding and cut my monthly payments down.
I even closed out my credit cards so my interest rate went down plus I could see the mountain of debt melt as months went on by closing my cards. Try not to over leverage yourself hang out with friends who like to keep it real by making dinners at home watching movies etc... rekindle relationships with family members and old friends. Let people know that you are trying to save money and I bet you anything most of your friends are probably trying to do so as well.
I can only hope this will help or at least point you in a better direction.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
