Is there proof to the statement-'you'll see your life flash before you' a few seconds before you die?

If by proof you mean what science considers proof (repeatable verifiable results), what happens from the point of view of the experiencer at the moment of death is ipso facto unprovable. Usually, what I've heard is that the life flashes before the eyes during death, not a few seconds before. What happens a few seconds before death is certainly to some degree knowable, since family members or hospice workers are often with people, and brain scans could be taken, and so on.

There have also been many reports from people with NDE (near death experience), and many of these don't inlcude a report of their life flashing before their eyes. (Besides, "near death" is by definition not the same thing as "death. ") A more common report is that in the seconds before death, people get a great sense of clarity.

Maybe in this moment they are able to access all memories, and synthesize the implications of a lifetime of memories in an instant, and this gets translated as "life flashing before their eyes.

There is only stories and legends that refer to such a phenomenon, and despite statements from those who have had "near-death experiences", credence is hard to ascribe to such statements, and those who made them, are in fact still alive. I can tell you that when I had a heart attack, and was about to pass out, I was panicking, and the first thing I thought of was the hotel maidservice finding my body in the room the next morning. The second thing I thought of was my parents' reaction to hearing of my demise while on the opposite side of the country.

I guess it was more like my death flashing before my eyes, so to speak. There really aren't any people who can come back to life and inform us of the veracity of the phenomenon though -- I believe only one ever has come back to life after being truly dead (for multiple days), and He ascended to heaven without telling us.

I can say for sure that that does happen occasionally to people who ALMOST die. It has happened to me. And I have had the same story related to me by others who claim the same experience.

Obviously we cannot say for sure, it would be very difficult to prove and it may be different for each of us when our time comes. However, a quick search brought up a few near-death experiences in which people claim their life DID pass before their eyes.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
