I don't want anyone to actually try this, but hypothetically if one wanted to alleviate any misconception that the Earth is real can jump off a building and find out the hard way. The same senses that make us successful survivors are also those which allow us to gain knowledge of existence. All our senses are strongly indicative that the Earth is indeed real.
The same senses that warn us of danger, seeing the height we are on, and preventing us from falling or jumping to our doom, have also allowed humans to evaluate our universe- perceptions and eventually intelligence that evolution created in order for us to survive are now used for science- all indications, even those beyond our immediate perceptions, indicate that the Earth is real- a rocky planet with oceans and an atmosphere capable of evolving and sustaining life.
No it's a figment of my imagination. But I'm going to cease imagining on Thursday. Enjoy the next 48 hours.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
