Left to my own devices, I would require at least 3 alarm clocks, staged and set at various intervals. I have lived in many, many houses, my only requirement is that my bedroom face the east, so that the sunlight will awaken me. Luckily for me, my hubby is an early riser and is eager to "kick" me out of the bed to turn on the coffee pot.
This is the single most point that I depend upon my hubby for, well, there is the whole " protect the women and children" thing...... I am a nighttime girl living in a daytime world. He takes a chance just by saying, " good morning darling, I love you".
I feel it all depends on the night before. Was it a late night of binge drinking and gastronomic indulgence or a quiet timely supper about an hour or two before bedtime to bring a quiet end to an uneventful evening? I find that if I went to sleep by about ten o'clock (after a quiet meal) my eyes open by about five o'clock, without any assistance from an alarm clock. It is automatic and I feel no need to drag myself out of bed.
On the contrary I feel happy to get up and go about my business. Our body is a wonderful machine programmed to handle all our daily activities like sleeping and waking up, very efficiently, provided we allow it to function normally. When we get carried away by the lure of exercising our right to have a late night or are too stressed out because of home or office, then sleep becomes a problem and requires medication and waking up will need the help of an alarm clock.
Nope. Going to sleep is a chore. I hate sleeping but my body has to so I do.
Waking up is awesome because it means a new day has begun.
My God yes it's a chore...I wish I could wake up no problem and be alert and ready, but I just can't. I need a transition period of at least 30 mins where my alarm goes off every 5 minutes.
My alarm clock works after about the fifth time I hit the snooze button. It is really hard to crawl out of a warm bed in the morning. It would be great to be a morning person, but that is definitely not for me.
Getting up on time for me, means setting the alarm for a half hour before I have to actually get up and setting my coffee pot to start 10 minutes before usually does the trick. The smell of freshly brewed coffee will entice me to put my warm feet on a cold floor.
Hell to the yes it is hard to wake up! I have 6 alarms and they all sound different and none of them work if I am too tired to get up! They range from a horse whinnying to a R2D2-like robot sounds to nature sounds to rock music to a man talking on a CD about money.(At least I am actually learning in my sleep.Apparently.
Lol)SOMETIMES I will wake up. Usually my bladder is the best alarm clock. Taking a diuretic before I go to sleep will ASSURE I am up on time!
ROFL!
Usually I get up with the amount of noise my brother does in the morning. He is so loud it's getting annoying.
It's all predicated on the night before. :).
YES! This is the biggest chore of the day! I hate getting up in the mornings.
Out of my warm cozy bed the cold air is something I dread to do in the mornings. I would love to be able to wake up whenever I feel necessary but the sun.
Waking up in the morning is a blessing, knowing you get to start over fresh again. Before getting out of bed people should think "This is the day, that the Lord has made, I will rejoice, and be glad in it.
Yes I agree with how difficult it is to wake up in the mornings. What really works for me is a radio alarm clock - it has to be a music channel otherwise I go right back to sleep! Yes to a hot beverage - tea does the trick for me and a breakfast - not specifically bacon and eggs though.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
